Quanten Computing mit Informatik Abschluss?
Hallo,
ich mache zurzeit meinen Bachelor in Informatik und zukünftig auch vor, meinen Master zu machen. Ich würde zusätzlich gerne promovieren und wenn es geht über “Quantum Computing” schreiben.
Dementsprechend würde ich auch gerne in die Forschung oder in diesem Bereich arbeiten.
Jetzt bin ich aber am Hinterfragen, ob Informatik doch das falsche Studium ist und ich eher Physik studieren sollte, weil ich dort eben Quantenphysik lerne :/.
Meine Frage lautet, ob man mit z.B einer Promovation in Informatik gute Chancen hat in diesem Bereich zu arbeiten? Habe eher das Gefühl, dass Arbeitgeber Physiker oder Ingenieure in diesem Bereich einstellen…

People who deal with quantum computers are usually also good in (theoretical) computer science – clear, because it is about sophisticated concepts and algorithms. Conversely, however, the vast majority of computer scientists I know almost nothing about quantum mechanics. However, I believe there are courses that can also be found as a computer scientist.
In the end, it depends on what you can if a future employer wants to develop a quantum computer, you are not currently set up.
