Pulling in the pubic area (man)?
Hello,
I've been having a pulling sensation in my pubic area for a while now. It's hard to describe. It's in the mons pubis on the left side, near my groin.
I had a vasectomy seven months ago. The doctor pulled very, VERY hard on the vas deferens—I think it was the vas deferens—and I had exactly that feeling. A pulling, stabbing, pressure, not quite definable.
The urologist said it wasn't a urological issue. Everything in that area felt the same. But I don't really believe that either.
Then I heard it could be a hernia because there was a slight swelling.
My family doctor told me to keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse, I should see a surgeon.
Now I'm wondering what exactly is there? It's in the pubic area. Below the bladder, but on the bone. In a woman, I'd say in the mons pubis. Three finger widths above the base of the penis.
Could these be lymphatic vessels? It must be related to the vas deferens, though, because I mentioned the vasectomy above, and when I ejaculate, I feel a pulling sensation in that area as well.
I think I need to see another urologist.
What could that be?
Maybe one day I'll get real answers without "quickly Googled" answers. Because I've already done a lot of Googling myself.
It can be good that it is related to vasectomy. Seed guides contrast and pull together in ejaculation. Sperms do not float through a hose, but are “pumped” through these contracts in the direction of prostate. Even if parts of the sperms have been removed from you, this will remain with the contractions, which in turn can be a declaration that you have this pull in the moment.
The place you write with 3 fingers wide above the penis root is exactly where the sperm guides get into the body. There are not only the sperms but also blood vessels, nerves and the testicle lifter muscle into the body. See here:
If I can tell you about my vasectomy, in the first days I also had this pulling what you sign and several months the left side was still irritated, sometimes a little swollen and more sensitive to pain.
Asking Google is not a good idea. If there’s something, you’re as good as dead 😉.
I never do this, but go to the doctor with something like that.
I am surprised that the surgeon excludes the vasectomy as a cause. If there was no outside event (accident, sporting effort), then I would tap the OP.
Finally, tissue is severed at the surgical procedure until it comes to the sperm. Therefore, this could already have to do with the wound healing.
I had a scar in the area treated by an osteopath over a period of time. She has repeatedly worked and loosened the fabric so that nothing will grow.
With vasectomy everything is super fast healed. I don’t build a painkiller. Can this be related after so long? You couldn’t forget a tool in the body. I’ve already been looking for anatomy images to see this area. But everything unsatisfactory. I know exactly where it is. I just need to know what’s going on. It definitely depends on a muscle. Because if I can tighten the muscle and when coughing I feel it. No pain, but I feel it.
It’s hard to say. But that can last quite a long time. 15 years ago I had an intervention in the groin area at the level of the penis. I still notice this place. Especially when the weather gets worse. This is all so sensitive in the area….
There are very good books on the anatomy of motor sportsmen, which also show the ligaments and tendons. That’s what you should be doing. I’ve got a (admitted pretty old) book from Austin Current.
