Psychosis at 14 from smoking weed?

Hello, I'm 14 and have been smoking weed a lot lately, often every day for two months. I last smoked weed about a week ago, and it didn't feel like it used to. Since then, I've felt really strange. Nothing feels real. I'm incredibly scared of psychosis because, despite smoking weed every now and then, I have big plans for the future. (I can't go to the doctor because my mother wouldn't forgive me.) Will it go away or will it stay? Everything feels like something out of a movie and really strange, and I'm terrified that I'm just imagining it out of fear (and I don't need any lectures about why I should stop, because I'm also quit smoking weed now). I would be very grateful for helpful answers.

The symptoms you describe are classic forms of dissociation.

Usually derealization (a sense of ineffectiveness) and often also depersonalization (the feeling of separation from mind and body).

A psychosis could also occur as a result of cannabis use, especially if one is genetically challenged. Psychoses were found in family history with parents and grandparents.

In a psychosis, a strong paranoia or Persecutive delesquence often also severe anxiety and panic states.

A psychosis can be temporary, but it can remain. This is different, depending on man, depending on the psyche, depending on the environment, etc.

The symptoms of dissociation described by you sound serious and you should talk to a specialist (Psychiater), also independent of a psychosis.

I understand that, of course, you don’t want your parents to get some of it, but Your mental health has a clear priority. At worst, you just don’t mention cannabis and just report about your “random” dissociations.

However, if possible, you should mention it anyway, as this info can help the doctor understand the cause and treatment.

Derealization and depersonalization can be serious illnesses that need to be treated with drugs and psychotherapy, otherwise the quality of life can be very limited.

Even if you get pussy from your mother, it is much more important that these mental symptoms are treated as soon as possible.

If everything feels unreal, it’s not a psychosis. This is called derealization and is also a possible consequence that has nothing to do with psychosis.

It’s hard to predict how long it lasts, it can be days, weeks, months, years. But since there is a bandwidth and 1 week is not so long, the probability is quite good that it also decays. And if you don’t, you can do something in terms of treatment.

It can go back. What’s going on right here and how long this lasts can’t judge strangers from the internet.

What may help you is enough fluid supply, a balanced diet, enough sleep and sports. This is generally healthy and can have a positive effect on feeling.

I hope it goes without saying that you should do without cannabis and other drugs.

By the way, the doctor is obliged to remain silent. If it doesn’t get better, you should get there once.

Moin moin, a well-known one of me had the same thing with him that went away after some time, best not to get in there. But that doesn’t mean you should lose respect for the drug. The 14 is too early, should you be aware

I hope I could help
