Psyche, anxiety disorders, hypochondria?

Hello everyone. I'm 19 years old, female. For about three months now, I've been suffering from a variety of symptoms and keep thinking I have a serious illness, like cancer.

It all started two days after I returned from my summer vacation with my boyfriend. I suddenly couldn't breathe properly and constantly felt like I had to take deep breaths.

Among other things, I lost 5 kilos in five days due to my loss of appetite. Then I became concerned and went to the doctor. My heart was fine according to the EKG, and my lungs were also healthy. He said it was psychological.

Then other symptoms began, like chest pressure. I had another ECG done and everything was fine. Then the symptom disappeared.

Then I suddenly felt a tightness in my throat. I went back to the doctor and he said everything was fine. The symptom then disappeared.

I've been having trouble breathing 24/7 since today. I've been to so many doctors and hospitals. I've had numerous EKGs and blood tests, and everything has always been fine. Everyone said it was psychological. But they haven't helped me any further.

Now I'm thinking again that I have something in my throat and I think I can't swallow properly. I keep feeling my larynx because it feels somehow larger, although I think that's completely normal? Oh… I don't really know anymore. My thoughts keep going to cancer or something else.

Oh yeah, my period is kind of irregular these days. It's kind of brownish and light.

Can anyone help me and tell me if they have ever had similar symptoms?

Hey,

Feeling you're writing my year 2023. That was brutal, so I can understand you well.

I can only tell you that fears are okay and that you think about illnesses is also normal today. But you've been physically searched for your breathing and your heart, your main problems. Now you might think it's really just the psyche. I also thought about myself, because I had already been panic attacks because of my symptoms (which was the same as with you). But then I am to orthopedic and he has found a strong, so really very strong, hardening and scratching of my entire upper muscle parts. Think about a chest spine blockage. This block can cause exactly what you feel. In some cases, a BWS leads to the same symptoms as a heart attack. But organically everything is top in this case, especially if you have already confirmed this by your doctor.

So don't worry. I had the same feeling and I'm still alive and I'm fine. My cardiologist said to me at the time: once you have learned to accept it, fear is automatically gone.

In summary, I can only put you in the heart, try to get clear and ignore it. You may go to Orthopedics and see if your symptoms are muscular. Otherwise, a psychology can help, of course, but I almost came out there without, because you have to be clear, you are HEALTHY. (And cancer is extremely unlikely at your age)

Of course. We have to stick together hypochondously. 😉

I wish you all the best and great success to get this under control!
