Pseudonym author?
I would like to start writing on the platform Wattpad and have been thinking for ages about which pseudonym I should write under.
I would like to use Mary as my first name and something English as my last name that reminds me of literature in some form.
For example, Write for writing.
Think about what you care about and what you can identify. The name should have a meaning. I’ll tell you about an example. My OC is Kira Ulven, which consists of the English version of Kari (Japanese for cauliflower – Karifurawa, typical naming of a race from an anime I like very much) and the Norwegian Ulven (from the wolf, because I like Vikinger and wolves).
I decided against a pseudonym, because with my name I can reach more people (because more people know me) and my real name is not very difficult. You can just remember him.
But if you want a pseudonym, you should see what genre you write. For example, if you want to write Fantasy, it can be a magic thing. Like Mary Bloodwood, for example.
Many correct authors also have several pseudonyms. J.K.Rowling, for example, also writes Krimis under a male pseudonym. Many also write eroticism and then have completely different names to remain “anonym” in a certain way, and not to bring the two synonyms together into a hybrid. So you can also create 2 accounts on Wattpad. Among the one fantasy, among the other, just publish something else if you don’t want both “authors” to be connected.
How about a name from your favorite books? If there are several, you could also construct a new name.
