Proxy chain on Kali Linux?
Hey,
I am trying to learn the basics of Kali Linux,
I've watched several videos on proxy chains, but none of the tutorials work. Actually, I should type "locate proxychain" in the terminal.
but somehow only error messages come out.
What to do?
Hello,
there I am another time
best start with the basics of operating systems and their functioning.
Say, you have now asked 3 questions in 30 minutes, all of which look for little knowledge, but you have already answered a very detailed question with continuing knowledge. Can you explain this to me? Are you kidding me?
MfG, Codeline
“But somehow only error messages” is also great. There is absolutely no plan to use the command line (or even software in general).
Basic course computer would be more appropriate.
I love how helpful the community is ^^
…
Sure.
A question was not a real question I just looked for a discord server. So this has nothing to do with it.
The other two questions were both about ethical hacking/Cali Linux so I know 0.
But HTML/CSS/JS partially already ^^
Oh, I was just wondering, because I thought you had no expertise because of your question and then I had seen the relatively complex answer. There I was a little irritated
Yes it works.. Thanks and sorry again

Here you go.
└$ locate proxychain
/var/lib/plocate/plocate.db: No search file or directory
Sorry, but if you don’t manage to googlen or post it here, you should forget Kali very quickly.
What do you want to use that for?
What error message? How should someone help you if you keep the error message for you?
The command shows you only a lot of files belonging to the “proxychain” package.
Example from my Kali-VM:
└$ locate proxychain
/var/lib/plocate/plocate.db: No search file or directory
