Protein mousse packaging?

Hello,

I'm curious why so many tubs of high-protein mousse are so curved inward. As soon as the lid is opened, the tub returns to its normal size. Why is a vacuum created here?

It doesn't affect everyone, but I've noticed that at least 95% of the cups look like this.

There's an empty cup in front of me, I fed it last night.

I guess there's some underpressure. The filling level of the cup was low, I had about 3 cm empty cup rim.

It is therefore possible for the warm mass to be drawn together after filling.

She'll probably be filled warm. On cooling, the air is drawn together. This deforms the cup.

Maybe a vacuum is generated when packing so that the mousse does not collapse.
