Section 22 of the Road Transport Regulation (StVO) requires that cargo be stowed and secured in such a way that it cannot slide, fall, roll, fall or generate avoidable noise even in case of full braking or sudden evasive movement.

That says everything. If you’re picking up the stuff on the backseat bench, it’s clear.

Technically, this is also true there, but no one is interested in that.

Lose in the trunk is chaotic and impractical.

From my own Cabrio Italy experience, I can say that several pretty loosely packed bags are practical. They can be squeezed very well into the often somewhat impractical form of a convertible trunk and effectively exploit the space. At the same time, you can find the things well ordered.

I would do it in bags, cloth bags. Then you have more order.
