Projector for 5.1 system?

Hello,

I want to buy an inexpensive projector for €200. I want to use it to watch a few films on my 5.1 system in the living room.

The projectors have HDMI connections, does that mean I can order one of them without any worries, connect it and have sound or is there something I need to take into account?

Or does the projector need a special HDMI ACr?

Example projector: Wimikus K1

Thank you very much

Purely technical (almost) every beamer.

The question is which Image source you did. A TV does not output an image to the outside via HDMI, which only went on analog devices via the old Scart port.

Stay only one receiver (e.g. Sat or cable receiver) or a DVD/Bluray player.
On this device you also have to tap the sound that leads to the 5.1 system.

Your bad beamer choice before(so later more) can you explain to me your device chain?

(e.g. Blurayplayer > Receiver > Beamer)

For 200 euros? Well, I don’t know. But you can forget the sound of the beamer. Put the sound on your Dolby Athmos system and play it on the 7:1 speakers.

Didn’t you? Then why do you need a beamer?

If you have a 5.1 system, you should know that you only send the image to the beamer. ARC! Cable, not Acr is called audio back channel. You only need this if your TV has a receiver, the image and is connected to your system to play DVD’s or other.
