Projector doesn’t recognize laptop?
Hi, we want to run a PowerPoint presentation continuously at work. We bought the Acer 1080P PJ projector for this purpose. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a USB port. So we decided to run an HDMI cable to the back of the PC. Unfortunately, the cable wasn't long enough, so we used an adapter to connect two HDMI cables.
Now the problem is that the PC recognizes the projector, but the projector does not display a signal.
Could someone help us?

How long is the total cable length? And what resolution do you want the projector to run at? Have you tried lowering the resolution? The longer the cable, the lower the resolution can be. So, with a 10-meter HDMI cable, for example, 4K will be difficult.
What helps in this case are active extensions. Instead of simply plugging two cables together, you can use a signal amplifier between them.
But that's just theoretical for now, because I don't know the length of your HDMI cable. If it's only four meters, there might be another reason.

30 Meter ohne aktive Verstärkung kann meines Erachtens gar nicht funktionieren. Da kommen einfach keine Daten mehr beim Beamer an.
