Professional driver?

Good morning,

About my situation:

Do an apprenticeship in a trade,

I will finish next year and will be 20 years old when I graduate

I'm currently doing an apprenticeship, but I definitely want to do something else after I finish…

I would like to drive swap bodies for DHL, i.e. as a professional driver.

Now there are various options, namely training as a BKF, basic qualification or accelerated basic qualification.

Which approach do you think is the best and most sensible in my situation? 😉

First, determine whether you have enough talent to reverse a trailer under a swap body.

Not everyone has that ability. And if you lack it, no amount of training will help.

At some point, of course, this will be automated by AI, but by that time there will no longer be any need for a driver in the cockpit.

In my opinion, it will never be possible to automate this to the point where a "driver" is no longer required. It's still not a pleasant job anymore, and the appreciation is diminishing.

Ich würde die Ausbildung als Berufskraftfahrer (verkürzt) machen.
