Problems with the WiFi (fritzbox stick, PC, Fritzbox WiFi)?
Hello, I have the following problems with my new PC:
-Connection breaks (after that it usually does not reconnect and I have to restart, the restart takes a few minutes) After that it works again for several minutes
-The WLAN stick stops flashing when the WLAN connection is interrupted, and no matter I plug it back in, nothing happens)
-Doesn't reconnect…
What else should I do? 🙁
In the overall context of what you write:
Reactivate or acquire the physics knowledge of the 7th/8th grade with regard to radio technology .
You can then formulate a question that contains the necessary information so that further help can be provided – if that is even necessary at all.
You see: The first "guessing answers" that give a wild guess as to what might be have already trickled in. 🤷♂️
Thanks, but no.
All right. 👍
In this case:
Enjoy your continued lack of understanding of how radios work and the resulting aimless activism to solve your problem. (Everyone makes it as difficult as they want! 🤷♂️)
You know, you could have saved yourself the time instead of writing this here. I don't even expect an answer from Gutefrage anymore. The problem has been solved without having to take apart an entire physics topic. In real life, people are just more interested in helping.
How about setting up the Wi-Fi on the router accordingly?
Try renaming both Wi-Fi channels? Apparently, it switches back and forth and can't handle the high channel, as my experience shows.
Do I have to register on the Fritzbox website?
That's possible. I'd even recommend it, because internet over LAN is always more stable. I haven't had any problems so far.
Just make sure the repeater is the same brand as your router, if possible. Otherwise, it might not work. And, of course, it must also have a LAN port.
