Problems Ping/Package lost?
I'm a passionate Fortnite player. Every now and then (which happens much more often these days, about every other game), my ping spikes significantly (from 20 to an average of 50!). It's also clear that my lost package goes up by 20% (otherwise it's always 0!!! Regardless of whether the game is down or up or loud). I've already complained to Vodafone, and they just say I should restart my router…
It's no use! I've only had this problem on Fortnite so far. It's also happening on the PS5, both on LAN and Wi-Fi.

Even 50 ms are actually still a very good ping to zoom. Experience shows that it becomes unsightly from 80+ ms. The 20 percent packs lots are not pleasant in any scenario.
If these problems also occur when your PC and your playstation are directly connected to your router (without any intermediate solutions, such as Powerline/D-LAN in between) by LAN cable, the troubleshooting becomes difficult.
What connection technology is used? Unfortunately, such problems can occur in cable connections. Cause research usually takes longer there.
Which router do you have? If it is a router of Vodafone, it might be worthwhile to switch to a (own) FRITZ!Box. You can then at least potentially read more there. If, as mentioned above, there are actually problems on the line, another router will of course not be able to change it.
Basically, you can try a trace route (tracert) to find out where the problems occur. With this, Vodafone can then possibly also limit it closer.

Yes, what do you want to do then you have to act legally against Vodafone. You are obliged to comply with the contract. And you might want to know what’s in the contract, it should be on the Internet. But it must be excluded that there is no defect in your presence on the router or somewhere else with the network technology in the house. I know the problem with my old provider, a 50 ping would have been a dream for me. Mostly over 100 times 300 or 1000 there were more frequent and packets loss with up to 40%. If this was often the case with Cos on Air with directional radio technology and legal action against it, you could not stand there in the contract they take no responsibility for speed loss and Co.
