Problems with Ford Focus with 1.0L Eco Boost Engine from 2016?

Yeah, he’s having trouble. You put the toothed belt in the engine oil. As a result, it can dissolve in the case of non-fitting oil quality (sometimes but also so). The abrasion of rubber and glass fibers then clogs the oil lines, ensures a defect lubrication of various parts, which can cause expensive damage such as defective storage points or a defect on the turbocharger. If he even loses a few teeth, which has also already happened, the valves push the pistons, which then corresponds to a capital motor damage. Ford has not converted this engine to a control chain for nothing, and it is quite similar to PSA, where there is a similarly constructed engine.

Do you know what year the Ecoboost engines are running again with control chain? And is this true for all Ford models or model series?

Unfortunately, I don’t know, no. I don’t even know if all current Ford 1.0 EB have a control chain again – that they used to have the “moist belt” without exception, I know that. Either way, this engine is below 2000 rpm due to its enormous tendency to drone. no recommendation, any other current engine – even three cylinders – is significantly better in this respect.

I guess the engine’s around 100 hp. Then the engines don’t hold 200k km.
