Russians, in turn, say as funny things as: “But it costs expensive/cheap!”

There are ways to say this in your own language. These structures are then simply translated directly.

In the German language, no grammatical rules are violated. This also favors such errors. Semantic relationships are more common here.

“Schmecken” is rather aimed at an adverb and not an adjective. “Hi” rather on adjectives.

On the other hand, adjectives are also used adverbially…

Your Thai example is particularly clippy because you could say, “The dish tastes delicious!”

That tastes delicious, it’s in the Duden.

Since it’s a girl with a foreign mother tongue, I don’t see a “mistake” because it’s super to understand, just too sweet and striking and I wouldn’t even improve grammatically. I wish I could speak a second language. I like that.

Why are you looking for a grammatical rule? It just used a wrong word, which is used by the way, sometimes.

In addition, the sentence could also be loud without problems “it tastes very delicious”.
