Printer doesn't work anymore?
A week ago I upgraded my laptop to W11 but quickly downgraded it back to W10 because my battery was draining very quickly.
However, since Dehmer, my printer hasn't been working (meaning I can't print anything from my laptop). What's causing this, and how can I solve the problem? I have a few things I need to print by Monday.
Printer: HP OfficeJet 3831 I usually print via USB
Now, a really stupid tip from me: completely reinstall Windows 10. Something went wrong when downgrading from Windows 11 to Windows 10.
With such configuration errors, you're usually in a bad position.
Win11 still seems to have some teething issues.
Never change a running system.

Reinstall driver?
I've done that again and it still says "Your printer encountered an unexpected configuration problem 0x80004005"
Here are 3 suggested solutions:

And since the error can be manifested, here are some suggested solutions:

Have you tried uninstalling the printer and its software (I think you're asked to do this when you uninstall the printer), then restarting and connecting the printer. If new hardware is found, the driver should be installed (the normal procedure). If not, install the driver and then connect the printer.
