Pregnant despite my period?
Hey, I'm Michelle and I'm 20. I got my period two days ago, but I slept with my boyfriend and we didn't use a condom, but he still came inside me. Is it possible for me to get pregnant? I've looked online, but there's so much conflicting information on the subject. 😐
If that's your period, you're not pregnant.
Because a period bleeding of normal duration, strength and color is a very safe sign not to be pregnant.
From a medical point of view, a simultaneous occurrence of pregnancy and period is impossible, since the female body is programmed in such a way that pregnancy and the period naturally exclude each other.
Because the period starts just because the egg was not fertilized in the last cycle. Otherwise, pregnancy hormones would prevent the bleeding of the cervical mucosa.
Happy for you!
You can't be pregnant despite the period, but you can get pregnant during the period when your cycle is very short.
The problem is that I don't lose much blood
Then test if you're so insecure.
Most likely you have no cycle of 15 days or so
If you get your period (after!) quite normal, it is absolutely unlikely, basically excluded that you are pregnant.
What can sometimes be observed after fertilization is when other bleedings that have nothing to do with your period.
If you get the period it is not possible to be pregnant
If you want to do a pregnancy test
If you have sex without preventing, you can get pregnant. You should know that at your age.
Test in about 19 days.
Not if after that the control bleeding occurred quite normal.
But even then I would do the test just for safety
I've got five years of course. 1 week before the period you can rattle until the doctor comes, you can't get pregnant.
She just needs to wait a month and if the period comes again quite normal, it is absolutely clear.
Sure is safe. In medicine there is no 100% safety
What for? If the probability is equal to zero…
