Good Morning, I find it a little difficult to form sentences in Spanish. I know what Hay, ser & estar mean, but when I try to form them, they sound a bit strange or are simply wrong. Does anyone have any idea what I could write instead? :((
if someone asks you, I would put my answer to the question – so if I were asked with preferir, I would reply with preferir – same with gustar, cross, etc. This is not a rule – it’s just easier for you and always fits. If you prefer your preference without question, you can choose it.
Preferences: (Yo) prefiero el agua sin gas = I prefer water without carbonic acid.
I prefer: Me gusta más el agua sin que (el agua) con gas = Me tastes / I prefer water without (water) with carbonic acid.
I prefer coffee to tea. / I prefer coffee than tea.
Prefiero el caffe al té.
Prefiero la pizza a. la carne.
