Internship 8th grade?

Hello folks,

I wanted to ask how to register for an internship. I'm in the 8th grade at a Realschule (I went to Gymnasium before that, but I'm not sure if that's relevant), and I'd like to do an internship at my old elementary school or kindergarten, if possible. However, I don't know how to go about it. Do I go and ask if they have any internships available? Do I send them an email online? If so, what should I write in it?

The internship would be on March 18-20, so it would last 3 days. I don't know if that's relevant, but my teacher said we can stay in the same place for 3 days.
