Practical part of the EiB training at DB Regio?
Hi guys! I'd like to apply for the EiB apprenticeship at DB Regio in a few years (after I finish school). I'm from a suburb of Berlin, but unfortunately, there are currently no openings for this apprenticeship in Berlin at Regio.
So I searched a Brandenburg job posting for all the information I could find. I noticed that all the Brandenburg job postings stated that the practical part would take place in Cottbus. My question now is whether this is also the case for the Berlin training program.
I have a colleague doing the same training at DB Fernverkehr, who says his training is at the factory, but he doesn't know what the process is like at Regio. The commute to Cottbus wouldn't be far from where I live, but due to stupid timetable planning, I'd have to arrive in Cottbus at 6 a.m. (I don't know when I'd actually be there for the practical part or whether it's on a shift basis) and leave at midnight, which would mean I'd be on the road for about 5-6 hours instead of 2.
Thanks in advance 🙂
Es ist viel zu früh. Ausbildungsstellen kommen 1x im Jahr für den nächsten Herbst raus. Nicht Jahre im Voraus,
Bei sowas zieht man in WG´s.
