Power supply too weak?
Hello,
I recently installed a processor (AMD Ryzen 7 5800x) in my PC, and since then the CPU's EZ Debug LED has been lit and my monitors are no longer receiving any signal. I've already reset the BIOS, downloaded the latest version, and updated all drivers. Now I'm wondering if my power supply might be too weak and my processor isn't getting enough power.
Does anyone know anything about this?
PC components:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x (new), AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (old)
GPU: Radeon RX 580
Mainboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX
RAM: 16 GB
Power supply: 500 W
Hello,
the low power supply is not. 500 watts are loose.
Flash the board’s BIOS by M-Flash.

Did you change the BIOS update before or after the CPU?
Just take the CPU out, control all pins and reinstall it.
I manually flashed the BIOS update with the old CPU with a USB stick. When I was installing the new one, I tried to take the BIOS battery out and wait 10 minutes, but my screens still don’t get a signal and the EZ Debug LED still lights.
No, 500 what are more than enough.
You need at least BIOS vesion 7A38vBB, or new stop.
It could also be on the RAM even though the CPU lights. Maybe xmp off when it’s on.
Since it is an MSI-MAX motherboard, it would have to work without RAM and CPU for flashing.
TE may have overlooked in the update history on this board, however, that in addition to the pure BIOS update, if necessary. an AGESA update should also have been made.

Is the board working on your Ryzen5 – 2600 again?
Yes, if I reinstall the old CPU then everything works perfectly.
How do you get to the 5800x3d? He wrote 5800x…
These are different CPUs.
Correction in CPU plugging: Instead of B0, B2 should stand there.
According to MSI you need for the R7-5800X3D in B0 – Stepping BIOS 7A38vBE.

Now I have installed version 7A38vBL.
What BIOS version did you play to upgrade to your new Ryzen 7-5800X3D, or what version is your BIOS currently?
