Postpone job interview?

I have an interview for a position at a hotel today, and now I have a client appointment scheduled for today (I'm currently self-employed). Will it make a bad impression if I reschedule the appointment for the next day or the following week? It's very inconvenient, since Christmas is coming up. Otherwise, I would reschedule the client appointment.

Of course, this doesn’t make a good impression now and depending on that, it can cost you the chance to get the job, as the cancellation is relatively short-term.In addition, it’s not sure whether you’ll get a second appointment at all, especially as short-term as you imagine.

Improved so that you understand it, of course, that means the chance.

Basically, it can be said that an applicant for a job has to comply with appointments with the possible future employer and that it is absolutely timely. This is to be noted, one shifts an interview with the employer, one can actually forget such a job. Because a possible employer signals such behaviour as absolute inadmissibility of the applicant.

I had a case like that before. I wanted to postpone the date because there was a death in my family.
I was lucky to have the boss on the phone. “Do you have a little time now, then we can do it on the phone.”
Well, I didn’t get the job because I was too busy with some technical questions.
Have given a friend (and colleagues) the tip, he has applied and got the job. From my then (and today) view a good choice. He was just better.

Move customer appointment if it is meant to be serious with the application.

It’s difficult. But if there is actually an interest on the part of the employer, something can be done. If not, you have to decide what’s more important to you.

You can take any job. If you leave the appointment, there are three others who want the job. It would be great if you set priorities in your life

I don’t think you’ve overcrowded all this, one is probably a very small company, the other is your professional future. You still need to learn to benefit here urgently. I was already self-employed in addition to

I don’t know what your problem is.I didn’t make the rules and my understanding has nothing to do with how the company reacts.🤦 I wrote that you should hope for understanding from the company Your comment now was quite pointless.I only answered your question and with no word mentioning that I would not have any understanding of what I have to do with general human resources policy. In addition, you certainly did not make the customer appointment in the middle of the night, why didn’t you call it immediately and declare it and cancel it.That makes all an unreliable impression on a future employer.

Idiotic answers just because you don’t like the truth, all right.

Especially so short, he’s got the date today.
