Postage as a parcel?

Hello!

I forgot my laptop in a hotel and the hotel now wants to send it to me.

Over the phone, they said it would be no problem, but I would have to cover the postage costs (understandable and not a problem).

Now I received an email with the hotel address and a request for postage as a parcel.

I don't really know what to do with that statement. Should I send a package to the hotel now that the postage has already been paid?

If so, how can I book this with the post office?

Thank you very much in advance!

kind regards

You're going to DHL.de to log in there.

There you can buy a parcel note (name / address of the hotel from sender, your name / address as recipient).
Please pay attention to the correct package brand (5kg package up to 500 EUR, or if the laptop is worth more for an extra fee).

You'll send him to the hotel.

"Should I send a package to the hotel, with the postage already paid?"

Correct.

"If so, how can I book this at the post?"

By going to the post office and commissioning it.

They probably want to send you the laptop as a package and want to transfer the postage in advance.

The best way to call the hotel and ask.

They can send it unfree. Then you pay the postage costs when the package arrives with you.
