What is grandma’s porcelain worth?
Good evening, I finally have some heirlooms in my hands and wanted to know if there are any real treasures among them.
Probably everything from Asia, China and Japan perhaps.
My Google image search or translator only bring up strange results.
Most of the vase bowls have this stamp.
After a short search for ceramic signatures, I answered the first part myself.
Cat with 2 waves Görge Hohlt.
The others are clearly Asian
Thank you very much for your patience and help. Have a wonderful Sunday evening.
The Asians seem to be mostly from Japan, at least in pictures 1, 2 and 7. Whether the seal-writing stamp is Japanese or Chinese, only connoisseurs can say this old font.
If you read the entire parts, they can be better determined. A high-quality manufactory can have made vases or porcelain millions, then the object is presumably still to get and not too much value. Of course, the condition is also decisive.
Hello WenigAhnung314 and welcome,
please, avoid collecting threads and a photo of the requested object for each porcelain stamp; that’ll be too confusing.
But in general, I can tell you it’s about chin. Vases from mass production. They are offered on eBay & Co.
Except you have a particularly interesting model, but without a photo ….
There are also no antiques, they were in 20. century made.
