Porsche as the first car?

I just turned 18 and already have some driving experience and have it pretty well under control.
Is it worth buying a Porsche as a first car? I'm leaning towards the white 911, a beautiful model, but does anyone know where I can find the technical specifications? Or do I need to go to a Porsche dealership?

That would be the dumbest thing you can do.

The workshop costs at Porsche are horrendous, the spare parts prices and the maintenance costs are also. A motor seal might cost 2000 euros for a normal car, and at Porsche times 10,000.

A simple spark plug change is already a drama, because due to the deep position of the boxer motor cylinder heads it is not easy to get there. And it is by no means that the quality at Porsche is always superbly good, even there are engine problems such as piston tippers and high oil consumption.

The answers of many here are not up-to-date or only written by envy. Don’t be kidding me.

With an up-to-date Porsche, you are much safer on the move than with a cheap used vehicle thanks to excellent assistance systems that you need to select in the configurator.

Here we go to the configurator: https://www.porsche.com/germany/modelstart/all/?modelrange=911

No, the guy’s just a kid.

He is currently applying for a student internship and certainly has no money left for a Porsche 😀

I understand. But wanted to give a serious answer. Perhaps a little Justus is lost here looking for his first car 😀

A Porsche is more difficult to drive than the first car I wouldn’t recommend. I’m not sure if you get this under 21 so easy and if, then with a very high cost.
nice if you can afford it in that old man, but I’d guess.

I’ve got a ride experience, and I’ve got it all right.

Porsche first car?

No, no and no again!

You have nothing to control with a fresh driver’s license, not a PS shot.

Go for 2-3 years and then you can still get this.

With 18 years of age and barely driving practice, you’ll be in the newspaper no later than a week after the purchase.

A 911 with 18? well….

How much driving experience do you have? And to say by yourself that you have the “very good under control” sounds self-esteeming.

Apart from that, I could imagine that it is also not a walk in financial terms

I’ve just been 18 years old, and I’ve already had a driving experience, and I’ve got it very well under an account.

You think so. It’s not like that.

A year ago you were 13 and 2 days ago looking for a pupil internship.

You don’t have money for a Porsche.

In no case would I recommend that, since you are only 18 I would rather recommend a car under 15,000€ in the best case, e.g. a golf 5

I wouldn’t recommend the first car. Driving experience with 18 are actually equal to 0. Get a car for the start that you can rot.

And again such a question from the heading of total self-examination.

To make it short: No – in every way.
