Polyacrylic in the dryer?

Hello, I read yesterday that polyacrylic should never be put in the dryer, as it can produce hydrogen cyanide. I actually don't know if I've gotten any items in the dryer in the past. How would I have noticed? Would all my other clothes be "contaminated" as well, or how should I imagine this?

What happens in the worst case scenario?

That’s absolute bullshit. Whether you’re allowed to do it or not, it’s on the label. However, acrylic charges very strongly electrostatically and dries quickly.

It’s not harmful.
