Police tattoo application?
Hi, I'm 15 years old and have been here since 2015. I have the Syrian word "Syria" with three stars tattooed on my bicep. It's about 8cm long. The three stars are meant to represent the Syrian opposition. I want to apply to join the police. Do you think they won't hire me because of the meaning of the tattoo or something?

It's about visible tattoos,
In this case you would have to wear long sleeves even in summer
My brother-in-law has a tattoo on his elbow and was rejected because it would have prevented him from wearing short-sleeved shirts in the summer.
The option to wear long sleeves in summer was not available.
Where is your brother-in-law from? I'm from North Rhine-Westphalia. Did he apply in North Rhine-Westphalia?
Oh, well then that probably won't work
Yes, in North Rhine-Westphalia. But that was over 10 years ago.
Because it is a political motif, it may not be visibly worn on duty.
There shouldn't be a blanket exclusion when applying for a job, but I could imagine that people would be more cautious if someone already has tattoos with political meanings when they are hired.
Especially if someone doesn't have many tattoos yet. If someone has several tattoos, it might not even be noticeable.
Anyone who gets a tattoo has committed a criminal offense.
Yes, you will probably be rejected because of the shirts, because you can see the tattoo and what makes it even more difficult – it is a political tattoo

At 15 you are not allowed to have a tattoo
When can this happen
I don't think so, because the tattoo signals a political orientation.
What criminal tattoos a 15-year-old?!
