Hello everyone,
I have the following problem: I replaced the battery in my Pokemon Red game because it was no longer saving. But even after replacing the battery, the game still doesn't save; every time I restart the game, I have to start over. Does anyone have any ideas? Since the batteries came in a pack of 10, I've tried several without success.

The things you could test would be you put the battery properly around, the soldering points are well brazed (if you are not properly heated or foreign bodies are in it, this could interfere).
Do you have any chance to test the batteries? For example, with a tester or in which you connect a small incandescent lamp to one?
It may of course also be that the board of the game is damaged in any way. But this is not really recognizable by remote diagnosis.
Maybe the batteries are all “shred”. Once you have to test with 2 normal 1.5 volt cells, if the part then works with this voltage (2 normal R6 cells in a battery compartment, tap voltage.) .
