Hello!

I think since he's back home and – thank God – nothing happened, she's pushing the problem.

It would have been the right act to inform the police. I spoke to the anonymous alcoholics when my husband had to drink, and I said, "Okey, you threw him out. Now make sure he gets rid of his driving license and his work at the same time. Before he's not in the gutter, he can't understand that he has a problem with alcohol!"

Today I know this was the right advice.

There is a self-help community for members of alcoholics. Press the page http://www.Al-Anon.de

Police report and call the license plate + model. This is fucking dangerous for him as well as others. That's bad. Next time you should take off the keys before he can drive away

Tell the police. Name + sign + model. It is not only dangerous for him but also for others.

If you know where he went, the option would actually be to call the police.

I don't think of anything else. Going behind on your own is just the risk that what happens. Totally difficult situation – don't want to be in your skin…

Then call it. Maybe they can "blur" it when it comes to… That would be an option.

If you were a stranger, you'd probably get to the police. With your own father or spouse, well, difficult question of conscience.

Sure is that drunk drivers can cause pretty bad things.

Difficult as it is your own dad, because as hard as it sounds to call police,he threatens his life and other reluctant people.Has he a place where he likes to go to think about e.g.? Call someone by car and search the places where he could be.If nothing helps the police.

Does he have a phone? So you could possibly locate him… I'm pressing the thumbs that he comes to reason & nothing happens.

That's stupid or you could have just found him. Did he report?

Please report it to the police! He doesn't just threaten himself, in his condition he could build an accident and hurt innocent people or even kill.

If he gets drunk somewhere, he doesn't have a license anyway. I think your father's life is more important than a stupid driving license
