the plates were built by the former GDR. It was easy to create a living space as quickly as possible and as cheap as possible.

After the WEnde scih has changed the tenant structure, and if you have “too many neighbors”, then there are problems such as vandalism, noise nuisance etc.

You feel a little bit in it. Around you countless other people, many of them have problems or a bad environment. And you often don’t even know the neighbors. Vandalism and damage such as blurring walls come to this. In general, you never really feel alone in there I think, and mixing the senses… smells, mold, the rough walls do their rest. Far from the soothing, happy nature in a concrete desert.

This is not the case;) It can also be made alive, more cheerful and strengthen contact between the inhabitants. If it is still considered cleanliness, plate structures can sometimes even be beautiful.
