Planning a long motorcycle tour, now sick?

Hello friends,

I've planned a big tour that starts on Sunday. But I'm currently experiencing mild symptoms of illness.

I booked everything, and now I seem to be catching a cold.

Should I stay home?

As long as it's just a cold, I'd go through the tour according to plan, especially if the weather forecasts are good and don't bloom you a completely rainy wet-cold week. Colds go away quickly. Take a break from time to time and drink something warm. For me absolutely no reason to stay at home. The lots of fresh air often does well for rapid healing. Except you have more than just a cold, eg a flu with strong limb and headaches, so that the seat position on the motorcycle becomes a torture. But a bit of cough, neck pain, hoarseness, this is no reason to stay at home. Just look that you are warm enough for cold days, and for sunny and lighter days you have to feel comfortable.
