No, the price is absolutely appropriate for an entry device.

Either you can look around and save some money by adding an EOS 70D + 55-250mm STM. You get the camera for 300€ and the lens costs around 150€. Completely for a beginner.

Or you can get the latest EOS M50. The same lens can be operated by EF-EOS M Adapter.

Canon EOS M50 black body from € 518,89 (2022) | Price Comparison Geizhals Germany

The Sony Alpha 6000 is also good, but currently as good as nowhere available, due to chip shortage. And in contrast to the M50 does not have a folding and rotatable touch screen but only one that you can fold a little upward without touch.

It’s best to look at Nikon or Canon who have the most choice. At Nikon I would suggest the D3500 and at Canon the EOS 2000D. Which brand is better is perceived differently from person to person. So read several reviews and go to a shop to test them. Of course, an objective is important because the aircraft are usually far away. EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM. Since both together could possibly exceed your budget, the camera would also have the 4000D. This is relatively equal (a few functions less) but 50€ cheaper. You might like these two together because they would be about 300€ (camera) + 200€ (objective) =500€. hope I could help you a bit

Alternative still there couple tips

They are both as good as possible for filming and not really for planespotting with their few AF points. The 4000D is the lowest starter plastic scrap that does not even have a metal bayonett, I would definitely not recommend any, then prefer a used 600D for 150€.
