grow in the woods behind my house.
are about 4 to 5 cm tall
grow in groups and smell very much like chestnuts (a type of mushroom)

Ich tippe auf Kuhröhrling. Der Sandröhrling hat die gleiche Farbe, aber eine körnige Hutoberfläche und der Pfefferröhrling ist dunkler. In der Nähe sollten Kiefern stehen.

Der Struktur nach zu ordnen, dürfte das ein nicht genießbarer Pilz sein.
Man müsste noch die Lamellen sehen.

Google mal deinen Wohnort und Pilzkontrolle dort kann man unbekannte Pilze bestimmen lassen
