Changing pills and sex?

Hello, I took the pill Swingo 30 for 1 1/2 years and switched to the pill Luvyna three months ago.
Both pills are combination pills.
The Luvyna PB states that if you switch from combination to combination you should either skip the break or take the breaks and then start with the new pill.
I opted for the first option three months ago (consulted with my doctor). So I didn't take a break but started taking the new pill immediately when the old blister was finished.
Unfortunately, the Pb doesn't say when I'll be protected again…

I'm now in my third month of taking the Luvyna pill and wanted to know if protection is restored in the third month? Or do I still need to use double contraception in the third month? How long should I have used double contraception?

regards & thanks for the answers

As you describe the change from combination to combination, it is just right and really corresponds exact the applicable medical requirements in the prevention with oral contraceptives (” pill”)!!!

You must therefore reliably assume that your safe protection was continuous and never interrupted when you transition from pill 1 to pill 2. You have been, are and remain fully protected from an unintentional SS, according to all the rules of medical or pharmaceutical art, with the continued correct taking of pills.

If there is nothing in the package leaflet for additional contraception, then the protection was never gone.

Hello Babsi780

You didn’t lose protection by changing the pills.
