Took the pill too late, what to do?

Hi.

I realized an hour ago that I forgot to take the pill last night (7 p.m.).

And I had sex with my husband yesterday!

Now I've picked it up after more than 17 hours because it says on the internet to pick it up as soon as possible.

I had my period until 1 or 2 days ago and started a new blister on Monday.

Tonight, of course, I would take the pill again as usual.

Do I have to worry about this now?

Hello.

Pure theoretical You already have a risk that I think is low.

Practical it is, even if some users here are going to shake their head vigorously, damn hard to really get pregnant. Personally, I’ve had traffic for a long time before the first pill without any protection. But you can’t bet on it.

Is there a five-hour late pill intake really so dramatic??? On the other hand, with an emergency prevention, you can shoot your entire (pill) cycle with a lot of bad luck…

I wouldn’t do anything in your place now, and I’d just take my pill on a normal basis, but you’ll have to decide. – Many greetings, Imke =)

Yes, in case of an error in the first week, protection for the last 7 days is usually gone before the error and you have to additionally prevent the next 7 days (most likely to be in the package). You could take the pill after it or get it on it. From 19 days after sex, you can make a pregnancy test.

It’s extremely unlikely that something happened.

Because you don’t have a normal cycle with pill, so it would have to have been a ovulation within this time window, while you didn’t take a pill, and that happened is not so likely.

And of course you should be able to stay pregnant, which is more unlikely with pill.

To calm down, test in about 2 weeks by pregnancy test, or by taking blood at the FA

This is not a menstruation, that is a hormonal abortion bleeding, with a micropille that does not have when you take it, is medically not necessary.

have you never been explained?

you have GAR NO cycle with pill

NOT MORE

but the probability is extremely low.

You could get pregnant, but that happened is not likely to be 80-90 percent.

Read the package leaflet.

Definitely take the next pill as always – so tonight.

Get the pill after that.
