Forgot to take the pill with you on vacation?

Hello, I've already been on vacation for a week, and we're staying for another week. I knew I'd be taking my pill break and getting my period right in the middle of my vacation, but I completely forgot that I needed to take a new pack of pills with me on vacation for when my pill break was over. I should start taking the pill again next Wednesday, but I can't take it until Saturday when we get home, which means I'm three-quarters of a day late. I don't have a boyfriend, so I don't have to worry about contraception, but it's not particularly good for my body either.

I just wanted to ask if it's a huge problem that I can't take my pill until 3/4 days late, or if it's still okay. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance.

Hi.

because you do not take the pill for prevention, an extended break is not a problem.

But if you take the pill sometime because of the contraception, it looks different. An extended break corresponds to an intake error in the first week. This can be retroactive and can lead to protection loss for the next 7 days (depending on the pill, there can be deviations, so please read separately in the package leaflet).
