Took the pill incorrectly, what should I do?
I started taking the Maxim pill 2 months ago.
you should take it for 21 days and then take a seven-day break.
My doctor only explained to me which contraceptive methods there are (it was my first time there) and my pharmacist told me when I asked again whether it was a 21-7 day pill: "No, I know that one, you take it every day."
But now I see on the website and in the package insert that it says it is a 21-7 pill.
If anyone knows, does contraception no longer work if you take such a pill every day? Does it lose its effectiveness?
Or can it be used both ways? Otherwise, I'm confused about the pharmacist. Does anyone have experience with this pill?

There are actually pills that contain 21 active ingredient tablets and 7 placebos. These are marked with “21+(plus!)7”.
So 28 pills in a blister in different colors, so you can take one each day and replace the non-active one. This should facilitate regular intake.
Your max doesn’t belong to it. She has 21 tablets for 3 weeks in it and then follows one week hormone-free.
However, in a conventional micropille (combination pill with two active ingredients as well as your maxima), you can easily shift the medically unnecessary pause without any loss of protection; prefer (after at least 14 pill days), move backwards, shorten or let it drop out completely (long cycle).
Only do not extend – so maximum (usually) 7 days without taking!
It doesn’t matter if you take 14, 16, 21, 25, 28, 42, 50, 77 or 100 pills consecutively or the break takes one, three, six or seven days.

Hello, Maxim is a single-phase combined pill preparation, which is usually used in the 21/7 intake scheme. :
However, with such combination pills, we are almost always on the safe side, as they are very flexible/friendly to use and basically only two important rules must be strictly observed. The maxima are normally taken 21 days and then take 7 days off.
There is no medical reason to take the break, more and more often doctors recommend taking the pill without a break (also applies to the maxim) (max. 6 months). This also has the advantage that in the long-term rhythm an error is not a problem if it is not in the first week after or last week before a break. . Even errors up to 7 days are not a problem if you have taken the pill at least 14 days before the error and the pill is taken at least 7 days after the error.
