Piercing or punching?

I've read online several times that it's better to have ear cartilage piercings pierced instead of traditional piercings. Is this actually possible or just a theory? I haven't found any offers for this in the greater Stuttgart area.

There are actually still a few piercers who have learned to punch, often there are those who also offer body modification.

But it is worth with any kind of Ohrknorpelpiercing as it heals better and faster, not just with larger diameters.

I’ve been punching Ohrknorpelpiercings since 1994.

I don’t know if punching a big advantage over stealing. Sure, if you want to use 3mm jewellery or bigger it makes sense. In normal ear jewellery, however, I do not believe that punches have an advantage over stealing, since the needle usually has the diameter of the jewellery, so there is hardly any tissue displacement. But what I’m sure is that sting/punching is better than shooting. Since the shot earhole is only displaced and no tissue is removed.

This is more important for cartilage piercings and especially when larger jewelry are to be made in.
