derestrict piaggio nrg?
Hello, I've bought a Piaggio NRG 50, built in 1996. After a few repairs, I wanted to derestrict or tune it. What would be the first steps in derestricting or is tuning more worthwhile?

Hello, I was just driving in the countryside with my car and after driving through a forest I noticed a rather unpleasant grinding noise when braking. I've already read that it could be a stone that flew into the brake, but will it go away again? I can rule out worn brake pads as these,…

Such old models are always throttled with a Variomatik throttle (Vario ring). It can be removed relatively easily. Mostly still in combination with a gas flue, for this you have to take the gas flue and take the ring out over the spring. It’s a good thing to assemble, but you’ll get there. In some models there is also a throttled CDI. As far as I know, the older Piaggios (e.g. Zip SSL) are open to all CDIs.
