In a branch I is always the same. I is not consumed.

I2=I3 and I4 = I5

Since both branches are identical, I2 =I3 =I4 =I5.

The current must be supplied by the power source and flows back there.

I1 = I2 + I4 = I6

It says: The incandescent lamps have the same design, i.e. the same resistance.

This results in:

I2=I4 (because everything is the same)

I1 = I2 + I4 (because the sum of 2 and 4 is yes 1)

and I1 = I6; I1 = 2 * I2 etc. If one considers the current direction to be irrelevant, since no directional arrows are indicated there
