Hello, How does the sound frequency change if you put effervescent powder into a glass of water and then hit the rim of the glass several times with a spoon? Because we are supposed to make assumptions in our physics class, but I am not sure because I don't have any effervescent powder at home….

In electricity theory we have the following formula U=E*d I now have the following problem where I have to show that U2 = 2U1. For U2, d is halved, so d2 = 1/2*d1. I would have done it like this: U1=E*d1 U2 = E*d1/2 Now I'm confused. To remove the fraction, I multiply by 2….
