[Physics] Gravitational acceleration g and height h calculated correctly?

Good day,

  • Did I calculate the task (parts a) and b)) correctly?
  • Because there are a few differences in my solution.
  • The solution also confuses me a bit, since here the calculation was done with kilometers km and at the same time with meters m in a).
  • I always convert to the base unit first.

Task (this is task 6, but I used information from task 5 to calculate task 6, as was done in the solution):

Yes, you’ve taken another way of solving, but it’s also correct and just means a little more typing on the calculator.

Because there is a little difference in my solution.

These are rounding errors that appear on the various solutions.

The solution also puzzles me a bit, as here was calculated with kilometers and at the same time with meters m at a).

However, the distances are consistently indicated in km, which is completely irrelevant, because in their way of solving the unit is eh abbreviated. There you could also specify the distances in micro-inch… nothing would change, because that would also cut out.

But it would be fatal if you had a solution, because the units won’t cut out.

I’m always counting on the base unit.

Then you’re always on the safe side.
