Physics explanation?

Hello folks,

I'm writing a physics paper tomorrow about the laws of motion or something. Can anyone explain collision problems to me? Like, if a car starts at one speed in one place, and another starts at a different speed in another place. And then you have to somehow calculate when they'll meet. HELP!!! I don't understand.

Both require the same time for different distances (due to different speeds), the sum of which however corresponds to the entire output distance. One can describe/introduce this situation in two formulas and calculate the missing values.
