Under the email there was also something written about Google Calendar, the sender of this email advertisement… is unknown to me

Is probably a Pfishing Attack, behind the link could most likely be a fake login page of eg Instagram, where you should specify your data. Could be something else. The best thing is to ask the known means of communication that cannot be easily manipulated by calling or similar, whether it has sent you this. Otherwise you will delete the email if it is not important.
The acquaintance has not sent the email, but the acquaintance is mentioned in this email, could this acquaintance perhaps have been hacked because we have the same surname (she is my mother)? She has also received phishing emails in the past
