Foster children board and lodging?

Hello,

I have a question about my foster brother. He's been in training since August and earns around €800 net. For some time now, foster children have no longer been required to pay 75% to the youth welfare office, meaning he keeps the entire salary for himself.

Since my apprenticeship, I've been paying 30% to our parents as board. I voluntarily suggested 30%.

Our parents also wanted to charge him board, around €100, to prepare him for fixed costs. However, he complained to the youth welfare office, and they issued a clear ban, albeit without any legal basis. Are our parents legally allowed to demand it? He's the only one of five children who doesn't have to pay board.

In my opinion, it's unfair on one hand, but on the other, he's throwing around the €800 like he's a millionaire, and by the 5th of the month at the latest, he'll be broke. That's the best way to learn how life works…

Thanks for helpful answers.

I assume that your parents receive care for him from the youth office or the state. So this must be enough for your accommodation.

So you can’t compare yourself with him here.

Your parents are paid out by the Youth Office the cost of living and a (low) cost compensation. Thus, they cannot demand a fee from the Youth Office, as this is already fully supported by the Youth Office.

What could possibly go is that he must save a certain amount for the driver’s license as well as the first deposit and furniture.

What’s going on? The youth gets no more penny or pocket money as prescribed by the Youth Office.

No, he doesn’t have to pay.

They’ll get money for his expenses from the youth office.

Why don’t you ask your parents if they receive money from the Youth Office for the Penitentiary?

Where is the legal basis for them to get the money?

Where is it, children have to give the parents the money?

However, he complained about the youth office

He probably has more legal understanding than some “self-represented” lawyers

The care allowance is paid + compensation is not at debate.

It is not for you, because it is not paid without reason and to nursing people. This also includes food.

You’re right, and that’s what you’re saying, You have no idea about social law.

That some lay people hang in here

You’re probably the biggest laie with the biggest mouthpiece.

As a lawyer… it should be easy for you

  • Ask your employer
  • the Youth Office on the grounds, etc.

… to request information with a technical choice.

Obviously you are not able to do this.

I hoped the opposite.

Now to claim legal knowledge and which ones to have are – with you – quite obviously w different shoes.

That’s not what I know about everything

Then you only lack the connection and your excitement is completely lacking in the place.

In the law, only the children have the duty to support the budget…

This concerns the (own) children. But this is not the nursing child and in Contrary to their own children, who basically do not contribute to livingen, financial support is already provided for the Pflegschaft.

However, he complained about a clear ban on youth and this language, but without a legal basis…

As nursing parents, they certainly receive a “compensation” beyond which nothing to demand.

If the youth office would have Claim for partial reimbursement from income.

the answer

Youth and this language a clear ban from, but without legal basis…

Then let the foundation of the youth office name you.

If the Youth Office no longer pays, why is it still in charge and why is it still with you?
