every time after riding. I don’t make an exception.

I also clean thoroughly, the bite itself, the rings, every corner. If I don’t clean the drums (e.g. on the tournament), but I’m going home again, I clean it up before I put it back into the saddle chamber. Folds well if you hang it in a bucket with water to soak.

My opinion is that you should be careful. For example, I do not accept sand on the saddle belt or the like.

Every time it was used!

It’s not really much up, easy to clean with a wet cloth.

It is best if you clean the bite right after riding.

Whether you wipe it with a damp cloth, or keep it under the faucet for a few seconds is absolutely no matter, there are no unpleasant odors and the rest of the horse’s saliva are gone.

This is also a bit different.

The ones make it clean after each ride (I also have a long time) and others (I count myself) when it appears too dirty. With me, however, there are no edges or the like, I scratch off the legs and on the dirt with the fingernail and is good. So more for pleasure and mood.

“Shampery” I’m still not in the stuff of my horse – I care about more than matching straps, trims and saddles, etc. By the way, never noticed a difference when it was clean or not.

I’ll wash it after every ride. When I clean my trense, so every couple of weeks, I put the bite in a water bucket so that everything that has accumulated inside can really come down.

Best after any riding.

It’s almost everyone. I come around in many stables and know very few riders who do not rinse the bite after every riding. If someone doesn’t do that more often, he is generally regarded as sloppy.

Don’t everybody. And it’s not bad when it turns out. But you have to remember that the horse must take the bite in the mouth, and it should therefore be clean.

Yeah, I know. That’s why “fast”… 😉

I also thought that until I was at a stable (>15 Einstaller plus small slender) where it was completely uncommon to rinse the bite or otherwise make it clean. There are also such stables.
