Pferd/Pony von Ferienhof nach hause mitnehmen, also halbjährig “ausleihen”?
Hallo zusammen!
Darum bitte keinen Hate.
Danke für viele hilfreiche Antworten!
I’d guess about it – for the good of the animal. The long transport, then the reconciliation to a new home, where it is taken out after half a year. In addition, your girlfriend does not know what diseases the animal may have, what additional food it needs. The animal may be awarded without equipment. Means, for half a year, your girlfriend would have to buy equipment.
A horse/pony needs a cut of up to one year until it has revived. Even in the background, the animal is not a favor. You don’t get the animal either. If there are diseases, the veterinarian must come. Also the dentist, depending on when the teeth were last made. Possibly, vaccinations are also necessary – from next year in any case herpes vaccination duty. It must be paid. Then the stable where to stand. Depending on the region you pay half a thousand. The Hufschmied has to come every few weeks, costs two to three digits depending on the processing.
Do you want a sick horse for which you have to complete extra insurance for half a year? Especially since these notice periods are of some 24 months. You can’t get out of this under a year. Ergo has a pony for half a year for which you have to pay after half a year.
If the satellite has to come, it’ll be four-digit.
The horse trailer/travel transport costs (kilometre) money. In the current quote prices it is not recommended. Feed is also very expensive at the moment.
A riding instructor wants to be financed. Correction ride, depending on how miserable the pony is working.
In short, it costs a bunch of money for half a year. The money is better to save her for her own horse.
Alternatively, she should be looking for a riding share. She has much more of that.
She actually wants her own horse, but can’t finance it alone and her family (which she otherwise financially supports) is against it. That’s why she thinks if she takes a young horse, she’d do something good. But for 2 or 3 years, she has been riding in group classes on dead-braven school horses that could hardly pass through an e dressage. How does she want to cope with a 4 or 5 year old holiday pony? But the problem is that she doesn’t want to help herself – if she’s a money-cutting company, she can do it herself, if she had lessons long enough…
Of course, a young horse can’t let me know anything about anyone with a few years of horse experience. Long enough lessons? You can tell her that even the professionals have lessons! You never learn and not even riding.
How old is your girlfriend if I can ask?
This is the point that her parents are completely misunderstood (willing?). I’ve also said – if your parents don’t pay you for it, just take a horse. It is exactly the same, except on the point with the insurance, where I fully agree with you, cookie 37.
Complete humbug. Each horse holder must complete a horse-holder liability insurance, no matter how long you have the horse. In addition, an OP insurance is recommended. Especially the latter is expensive and makes no sense in a horse. Of course, if the animal has to be operated in half a year, it is worthwhile in any case, but, as already said, there are minimum contract periods. You don’t get out of this before, and it doesn’t make sense to fully insure a horse for half a year.
In addition, a horse you have for half a year also costs just as much money as your own horse during the same period. It doesn’t make any difference. The costs remain the same.
Yes, she told me very happy that her parents would support this now, because it wouldn’t be forever, unlike their own horse…
Well, the parents think it’s better and cheaper, among other things, because you don’t have to insure the horse… they have no idea.
Well, if she’s 17 years old, she can’t sign a contract like that, then the parents would have to. And would they?
I’m reviewing my statement. Such a person should not hold animals. Egoism is completely out of place. For the good of the horses, she should be completely away from them, because who wants to encourage such a stress to the animal should not care about it.
She’s just 17. Excerpt. And is just on the “I can do all this alone” trip…
If she can get “for all running costs”, she can also buy her own horse directly. A reasonably trained, healthy recreational horse does not cost the world!
If, on the other hand, it does not want or can hold its own horse because it lacks money, time, experience or anything in combination, this model is also not an alternative. There it is only for this agriturismo a skillful attempt to override the emotions and the relaxed mood of the holiday guests the costs in winter!
My opinion!
the concept of ponypark padenstedt and co is known.
in the summer get out of the animals what goes and slip off in winter pony and responsibility.
is purely ethical and out of animal protection view great müll.
That’s what I think.
It saves the horse owner a lot of money and time. On the other hand, the horse is well lifted, it has fellows, it is properly fed and moved, how is it with insurance and veterinarian costs?
The costs are not the problem for them, they are supported by their family in pretty much everything they find good – at least financially. The pony came into a box, a few paddock hours in summer … In winter, the paddock is open only in dry weather and then almost always occupied – it is a relatively large dressage stable, there is only one paddock, which I find extremely concerned. Actually hardly reasonable. I’m afraid it’s a highly acclaimed idea to save the cost of winter.
very busy this mash, which affects people so everything to make or save money, to burden the animals. But apparently worthwhile if there are people who support this. Unbelievable
If you look at the site of the company, of the 120 ponies or something like that are already more than 50 reserved – I don’t want to figure out how much they save!
No way. Which stupid riding stable owner does that? It’s all about money, not the horses.
He doesn’t know where the horses come, how they are treated and maintained.
And for the horses it is a nightmare to change the stable. It’s animal torture from the finest.
It’s a little hairy what I wrote to her! But she thinks she would do something good to the animal, just a younger one – grottenbad idea for someone who just 2/3 years 1x a week on dead-braven half-dead school horses in the department through the train …
Well, you’d have to sue the riding stable owner. He only tries to save the costs for the animals if they don’t bring anything in the winter season. And on top of that, he’ll get money for the animals. You’d have to stop that. But there are always people who only think of themselves and not of the animals. And that some teens take off on it, I can imagine.
There is only one way to get the horse cheap under. You don’t have to feed it through the winter. To get some money, it’s too bad
This is my opinion!
An animal is not a trekking cup… something you don’t do.
My opinion!
Just stress for the horse.
