Is the Peugeot 206 cc also suitable for long distances?
Hello! I'm currently saving up to buy my first car, and the Peugeot 206 cc caught my eye. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with the car, whether it's a good car or what its disadvantages are, and whether it's suitable for long-distance travel, such as on vacation.
Normally, small cars are also suitable for long-distance driving. Whether it’s fun from the interior is another question.

Hello!
As a second car, the 206cc is well-usable and is also really fun with sufficient engine performance.
But when the steel roof is folded in, only approx. 50L trunk volume.
And this back bank is more to be used in practice as a “emergency seat”. There can be no more children. Or two travel bags.
You can’t do a ride with a bigger baggage, so you can’t do “open”.
The place is barely enough for a shopping.
Then you’d rather grab a “normal” 206 with a leak.
It’s more everyday for worlds.
You would have much more space in it. And can also flip the back bank split.
And the rear outlet windows are very pleasant at least in the interior.
I’m guessing the 1.4L benzineer with 90hp. This means that the 206 is not under- but appropriately motorized. Or, at a long distance, to the comparable diesel engine.
But let a skilled person check the car for defects before buying a used car.
At 206, in some models the rear axle sometimes makes problems.
I drive the 206 S16 (2L 16V, 136PS(+), p. 99), which has been upgraded technically somewhat more athletic, but remained visually very discreet.
And even longer distances are very good and pleasant to handle.
And keep an air conditioning as much as possible. It’s very useful.

Martin
You know this is a convertible?
No fully-fledged rear bench and, depending on the roof position, almost no trunk…
yes I know, no matter how long I can drive everywhere
Unfortunately, right…
