Pet monkey?

Hey guys! 🙂 I'm 17 and have been interested in exotic animals for a while. I live in a big house with a big garden that includes part of the adjacent forest. I recently came up with the idea of maybe getting a monkey if possible. I quickly realized that keeping a monkey borders on animal cruelty. I don't have a problem with two either. I give my animals lots of love and in the future I would give the monkeys at least four hours of attention a day. My mom and older brother would also look after the animals with me. My aunt is also working in a zoo and she knows the director and would arrange with him that the monkey can be kept in the zoo if I'm away or in an emergency. Now I would like to know where you can get monkeys (preferably smaller ones) legally and which monkeys would be more suitable – if there are any species of monkey that could be kept.

So first I’d start with bureaucratic stuff. Basically, you can hold every animal – but there are very strict requirements. First, the whole thing has to deal with the office of your place of residence. Then you will inevitably be told that you have to expect a visit from the official veterinarian’s office. This convinces that you have a sufficiently large cradle where you can keep the animal or the animals art-friendly. He will certainly also ask you if you have sufficient financial resources to provide the animals. You should also complete a liability insurance that includes this insurance. The most important point- DU must prove that you know the animals, and all that is necessary for the posture.
But you can’t – how to read out your question. With a few hours of employment, feeders and “small” it is not done.

The climate in D is unsuitable for monkeys. Otherwise we would have native species.

Monkeys are family animals that need their own affair.

Monkeys are kept in zoos in extremely secure enclosures, otherwise they would escape immediately.

A horde of little monkeys would completely devastate your house within minutes…
