Period while on the pill?
Hello, I've been taking the pill (Asumate 20) for 2.5 almost 3 weeks now. I started on the first day of my period on Monday. Since then, I've had constant, heavy brown discharge. Is that normal? For the last few days, there's been hardly any. Today I got my period, but it was a few days early, and I have to take the pill for another 3 days before I take the one-week break. Now I'm not sure whether I should take it for the next few days or whether I should stop today. Unfortunately, my gynecologist is closed, so I can't reach him, and I'm hoping for an answer here.

Hello, just when you start fresh and fresh with the pill, your body has to get used to the artificially controlled cycle for a while. The observations you described here are therefore completely normal and no reason for concern!
You you can to shorten the pill intake of your asumates as desired without any safety loss and enter a pill break as soon as you have taken at least 14 dragees correctly.
In your case as a pill-returner, however, I would recommend taking the first 3 blisters as prescribed, so that your body can “programm” in a hormonal way. – Greetings, Imke =)
